OPPORTUNITY FOR SMSF’S TO BORROW TO INVEST
Last year, the Government amended the superannuation investment laws so that, in limited circumstances, SMSFs can borrow to invest (refer new S.67(4A) of the SIS Act).

Although this change was stated to be in relation to "instalment warrants", it is not limited to products marketed as "instalment warrants" - any borrowing that meets the criteria will be allowed.

TURN-AROUND TIMES
Most of our orders can be done within a 24 hour turn-around period (provided there are no issues with the initial order, and we receive the order before 1pm).  To give you an idea, these are the following turn-around times we aim for, from the time we receive an order, to the time the documents are delivered to your door:

  •  New Company – 24 hours (although we always aim to ensure same day registration)

  • Company Changes – 24-72 hours

  • Discretionary Trusts – 24 hours

  • Unit and Fixed Unit Trusts – 24-72 hours

  • Partnership Agreements – 24 hours

  • Partnership of Trusts Agreements – 24-72 hours

  • Self Managed Superannuation Funds (establishments) – 24 hours

  • Superannuation Fund Deeds of Variation – 1-3 weeks

  • SMSF Compliance Kits – under 8 hours

  • Reprints (of previously issued orders) – 24 hours (additional fee applies)

All orders can be prioritised: the turn-around times can be sped up if you require your order urgently by written request.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE GET YOUR ORDER?
Our promise to you is to have all orders processed and out the door if we receive them before 1pm (for all 24 hour products).  If for some reason we need to contact you regarding unclear or missing information (i.e., where the instruction sheet is incorrectly completed, or illegible or ambiguous), this can hold up your order depending on how long it takes to collect the right information to complete your order.

For example, when we need to check on the spelling of a company name you want to set up (or any spelling), or the wording of an unusual appointor clause in a trust, we will need to contact you via email to ensure we get the best information from you in writing, your order leaves our office 100% right!

Other times, information can be sorted out by a quick and simple phone call.

If you prefer phone calls over emails, or emails over phone calls, we can add a note to your membership stating this.  However please bear in mind, that there are still some instructions (or changes) that we require in writing.

ORDER FORMS
Our new order forms are working well, although we are still receiving many outdated order forms.  Please ensure you have our latest versions by downloading them from our website www.interprac.com.au/corporate, or email us at ntaacorporate@interprac.com.au and request an emailed, faxed or posted copy.

We encourage you to use our latest order forms, as they are very user-friendly and in most cases ensure that we can obtain all the correct information needed to process your order without further contact.  Because they are all in Word format, you can easily type onto them and email us a copy.

NTAA CORPORATE MONTHLY PRODUCT UPDATES
From the 1st February 2008, all emailed versions of trust deeds, agreements and superannuation fund deeds will be charged at a low additional fee of $50 per order.
