The Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning)
The Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) meets the legal requirement for financial professionals to provide financial planning advice to members of the public.
In addition to this course, however, the Advanced Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning) is available to extend financial planning knowledge and scope.
Whilst the Advanced Diploma is not a legal requirement to provide advice, it has many extremely useful and informative topics on advanced financial products. These topics are invaluable for anyone providing financial planning advice to clients.
The Advanced Diploma provides the knowledge and skills required to identify, quantify, design and present complex financial plans and innovative financial strategies. The course is also an approved pathway to commencing study in the FPA’s CFP® certification program.

Course assessment
There are three components in the assessment for the Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning):
